BATTLE BIOGRAPHY
Romania participated for the first time in the Metal Battle competition in 2009 with X-plod band as the national winner. After that we had as national finalist Altar in 2010 and Bucovina in 2011. The first two national finals took place during Rockin`Transilvania Festival. Since 2011 the national final for Wacken Open Air Metal Battle is set indoor at Oldies Pub in Sibiu (south Transilvania). After the end of communist age local metal scene in Romania increased a lot. We do have now a lot of young bands and a lot of international metal festivals to."
