Wacken Metal Battle to prestiżowy międzynarodowy konkurs dla zespołów odbywający się od 2004 roku. Jest on podzielony na kilka etapów. Najpierw Pierwszym z nich są finał krajowy (w 2011 odbędzie się on po raz piąty również w Polsce). Zwycięzca rywalizacji w naszym kraju zmierzy się następnie w Ścisłym Finale, który odbędzie się podczas festiwalu Wacken Open Air 2011 w Niemczech.
Co można wygrać? Zwycięzca polskiego finału Wacken Metal Battle weźmie udział w Ścisłym Finale Wacken Metal Battle w Niemczech, gdzie fundatorami nagród są miedzy innymi Marshall, Washburn, Mapex, Sabian, Sure, Dean. Głównymi nagrodami w światowym finale WMB są również profesjonalny kontrakt płytowy oraz koncerty jako gwiazda wieczoru podczas krajowych finałów Wacken Metal Battle 2012 w całej Europie. (Przypominamy, iż dotychczasowi zwycięzcy polskiej edycji – Corruption oraz Chainsaw w światowym finale byli „o włos” od zwycięstwa zajmując drugie miejsca!!!)

Kto może się zgłosić? Każdy zespół, który nie posiada aktualnie podpisanego kontraktu wielopłytowego z profesjonalną wytwórnią. Zgłoszenia zawierające materiał demo (CD/ CD-R), biografię zespołu z fotografią oraz dane kontaktowe należy nadsyłać do dnia 15.04.2011 na adres:

Wacken Metal Battle is a prestigious international competition for the teams taking place since 2004. It is divided into several stages. First there are the national finals (in 2011 it will be the fifth time in Poland). The winner will face in our country, then in the finals to be held during the festival Wacken Open Air 2011 in Germany.
What can I win? Polish winner of the finals Wacken Metal Battle will take part in the finals of the Wacken Metal Battle Germany, where the founders are among other awards, Marshall, Washburn, Mapex, Sabian, Sure, Dean. The main prize in the world final WMB is also a professional recording contract and a star of the evening concert at the national finals of the Wacken Metal Battle 2012 in Europe. (Note that the previous winners of the Polish edition - Corruption and Chainsaw in the world finals were "a hair's breadth" away from victory in second place!)

Who can apply? Any team that has not actually signed a contract with a professional label. Submissions containing demo material (CD / CD-R), a biography of the band with a photograph and contact details should be sent by 15.04.2011 to the following address:
