The Faroese edition of Wacken Metal Battle will make its debut this year. Faroese label Tutl Records are promoting this event together with the cultural venue The Nordic House, where this Metal feast will be taking place, in the capital of Thorshavn, in the Faroe Islands, on 24th march 2012
The last couple of years, has seen Faroese Metal music thrive and progress, with great reviews both home on the islands, but also abroad. Naturally, this is something to build upon. The promoters have no doubts that Faroese bands of the various Metal genres, can reach far, if only they´re given the chance to prove themselves, and this is it!
The personnel of Metal Battle Føroyar, wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude towards the Wacken Festival, for being given the opportunity to participate in this prestige and awesome concept! Metal will prevail on the Faroe Islands!
