Información Importante Antes de Inscribirse:
- Gastos autofinanciados: Todas las bandas participantes deben cubrir sus propios gastos de viaje y alojamiento durante el proceso, incluyendo viajes a las finales regionales, la final sudamericana en Perú y el Wacken Open Air en Alemania.
- Eliminatorias regionales: Las bandas deben viajar a las ciudades designadas dentro de su país para participar en las eliminatorias regionales.
- Finales: Las bandas que clasifiquen como finalistas de cada país deberán viajar a Perú para la competencia final. Por favor, sigan el sitio web oficial de Wacken Metal Battle y las redes sociales para conocer fechas e información actualizada.
- Competencia global: La banda que gane la final, representando a la Región Norte de Sudamérica, deberá viajar a Wacken, Alemania, para participar en la batalla global de metal.
- Requisito de pasaporte: Todos los miembros de las bandas participantes deben contar con un pasaporte válido para poder asistir a los eventos.
- Restricción de edad: Todos los miembros de la banda deben ser mayores de edad de acuerdo con las leyes de su país de residencia para poder participar.
- Solo bandas sin contrato: Las bandas que tengan un contrato vigente con un sello discográfico, editorial o de management a nivel mayor no son elegibles para participar.
- Música original: Las bandas participantes deben interpretar canciones originales. No se permiten covers en el repertorio de competencia.
- Tiempo de presentación: Las bandas deben respetar el tiempo asignado durante las eliminatorias y finales. Superar el tiempo establecido puede resultar en descalificación.
- Backline y equipo: En la final se proporcionará un backline básico, pero las bandas son responsables de sus propios instrumentos y equipo especial.
- Respeto y conducta: Se espera que todas las bandas respeten las reglas de la competencia, a los organizadores y a los demás participantes. Cualquier comportamiento no profesional puede resultar en descalificación.
Important Information Before Registering:
- Self-financed expenses: All participating bands must cover their own travel and accommodation costs during the process, including travel to regional finals, the South America regional final in Peru, and Wacken Open Air in Germany.
- Regional eliminations: Bands must travel to the designated cities within their country to take part in the regional eliminations.
- Finals: The bands that qualify as finalists from each country must travel to Peru for the final competition. Please follow the official Wacken Metal Battle website and social media channels for updates on dates and information.
- Global competition: The band that wins the final, representing the Northern South America Region, must travel to Wacken, Germany, to take part in the global Wacken Metal Battle.
- Passport requirement: All members of participating bands must hold a valid passport in order to attend the events.
- Age restriction: All band members must be of legal age according to the laws of their country of residence to be eligible to perform.
- Unsigned bands only: Bands with a current record, publishing, or management contract with a major label are not eligible to participate.
- Original music: Participating bands must perform original songs. Cover songs are not allowed in the competition setlist.
- Performance time: Bands must respect the time slot assigned during eliminations and finals. Going over the allotted time may result in disqualification.
- Backline & equipment: A basic backline will be provided at the finals, but bands are responsible for their own instruments and special equipment.
- Respect & conduct: All bands are expected to respect the competition’s rules, organizers, and fellow participants. Unprofessional behavior may result in disqualification.
