Noiduin (meaning “I cast a spell”) is a pagan folk act from Finland, blending ancient folk traditions with shamanism and pagan mysticism. Deeply rooted in Finnish nature, the members not only perform with traditional instruments but also build them by hand.

At the core of Noiduin’s sound are the kantele and jouhikko, accompanied by warlike frame drums made from reindeer and elk hide, horn instruments, and percussion fashioned from natural materials. Their live performances form a hypnotic, atmospheric whole — the audience doesn’t merely listen, but is drawn in, dancing and slipping into a trance-like state.

Noiduin (deutsch: „Ich spreche einen Zauber”) ist ein Pagan-Folk-Act aus Finnland, der uralte Folk-Traditionen mit Schamanismus und heidnischer Mystik verschmelzen lässt. Tief in der finnischen Natur verwurzelt, spielen die Mitglieder nicht nur traditionelle Instrumente – sie bauen sie auch selbst.

Im Zentrum von Noiduins Klang stehen Kantele und Jouhikko, begleitet von kriegerischen Rahmentrommeln aus Rentier- und Elchhaut, Hörnern und Perkussion aus natürlichen Materialien.
