Please read these important points below before applying.
- A minimum of three eligible bands is necessary to proceed with the live Wacken Metal Battle in Saudia Arabia
- The Metal Battle in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to occur after Ramadan. Precise details on the date and venue will be communicated by the end of February.
- Should we receive a greater number of applications than available slots for the live Metal Battle, a preliminary jury will select the top 5 bands from all entrants.
- The shortlisted top 5 bands will receive notifications by the end of February.
- Financial Responsibilities: All bands must bear their own travel and lodging costs.
- The victorious band, representing the Middle East at the Metal Battle finals in the Wacken Festival, must be available for travel to Hamburg/Wacken, Germany.
- Your application must list all band members, and every member must be a resident of Saudi Arabia.
- Each band member is required to submit a valid passport with an expiration date extending at least until mid-February 2025, verifying their travel eligibility.
- Expatriates in Saudi Arabia must also provide documentation confirming their residency status.
- Bands must ensure their lyrics respect the cultural, political, and religious values of Saudi Arabia.
- If a band is associated with a distribution label, it must be disclosed. Only affiliations with distribution labels are permissible, excluding record labels.
