The Metal Battle Lounge began in 2014 as a place away from the stage — a room where the bands in the competition meet the people who can shape their careers. Not an industry gala, not networking theatre. Just bands and the industry in the same room.
Labels, booking agencies, managers, media and endorsement partners come to listen. Bands come to play, to talk and to open doors. What starts in ten minutes over a drink often becomes the first contract, the first tour, the first record deal.
Networking is a key factor in the success of any aspiring metal band.
Today, 30+ countries meet here every year.
